A bundle shaped by story, craftsmanship, and quiet distinction. This exclusive pairing of a rare commemorative vatting and a refined Speyside single malt speaks to heritage, character, and time well spent.
Designed for collectors, connoisseurs, and those who value meaning in every measure, this set offers both rarity and versatility in one considered collection.
What’s Included:
AVRE VAT #01 – Limited Commemorative Release (70cl | 50.5% ABV)
Created in tribute to the 265 Commandos and Royal Navy personnel of Operation Chariot, this exceptional vatting was drawn from rare single malt casks and matured for fifteen years. Limited to just 265 bottles, it carries a rich antique brass hue and a flavour profile that cannot be recreated. Each bottle is hand-signed by James Holland and Al Murray, marking it as an enduring collector’s piece.
Hirundine 12 Year Old – Speyside Single Malt (70cl | 46% ABV)
Matured for 12 years in American oak casks and crafted in small batches, this Speyside single malt balances classic technique with a modern sense of identity. Soft vanilla, honeycomb, and orchard fruits lead on the nose, followed by a warming palate of malted barley, baked apple, and gentle spice. The finish lingers with oak and subtle sweetness.
Why This Bundle?
Together, these two whiskies offer contrast and complement in equal measure. One is bold, limited, and commemorative; the other elegant, expressive, and endlessly drinkable. It’s a pairing that honours the past while inviting the present moment.
Keep it as a centrepiece. Open it with intention. Let each glass carry its own story.

Our Story
Our whisky is named after the Hirundine, the elegant bird of the swallow family.
Like the Hirundine, our whisky embodies a journey across continents and seasons. These birds semi-migrate between South Africa and the UK, braving dark, cold, and often challenging winters north of the Wall, in search of sun, warmth, and new opportunities.
Their wanderlust mirrors our own journey - a quest for excellence and discovery.
