Introducing Hirundine 38 Year Old Single Malt — our fifth release and one defined by elevation. Elevated by time. Elevated by craft. Elevated in every detail.

Thirty-eight years of patient maturation in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks have created a spirit of remarkable depth and indulgence.

Only 15 bottles exist. Each priced at £2,500.

The Whisky

Double cask maturation delivers layered richness — fruitcake, dark spice and chocolate — a classic, full Speyside indulgence.

This is a whisky that carries its age with grace — structured, opulent and beautifully composed.

The Decanter

True elevation extends beyond the liquid.

Each bottle is presented in a heavy, high-clarity polished crystal decanter, intricately engraved with gold infill detailing.
The stopper is a solid brass heavyweight design, engraved on both top and sides, finished to a high shine.

It is not simply bottled — it is sculpted.

Tasting Notes:

  • Nose: Rum-soaked raisins, chocolate-coated fruits, polished oak, espresso crema
  • Palate: Silky and luxurious — sticky toffee pudding, date crumble, vanilla chantilly and fig jam, unfolding into baking spices of cinnamon and nutmeg
  • Finish: Long, rounded milk chocolate sweetness with a final echo of toasted oak

Tasting Notes

Rich and indulgent on the nose, this expression opens with rum-soaked raisins, chocolate-coated fruits and polished oak, lifted by a touch of espresso crema. The palate is silky and luxurious, unfolding layers of sticky toffee pudding, date crumble and vanilla Chantilly, touched by fig jam and gentle baking spices. A long, rounded finish lingers with milk chocolate sweetness and a final echo of toasted oak.

Like the Hirundine, our whisky embodies a journey across continents and seasons. These birds semi-migrate between South Africa and the UK, braving dark, cold, and often challenging winters north of the Wall, in search of sun, warmth, and new opportunities.

Their wanderlust mirrors our own journey - a quest for excellence and discovery.
